AmyntaHealth and Hound and Horse were founded in April 2008 by a physician and a former researcher with the purpose of addressing nutritional health of dogs and horses. The original formulas of the antioxidant/anti-inflammatory biscuits were formulated for their own pet dogs and the horses they were riding. The mission of the company is to bridge the gap between the ongoing research, published in peer-reviewed medical and veterinary journals, and the daily choices of pet owners.
