AmyntaHealth and Hound and Horse; were founded in April 2008 by a physician and a former researcher with the purpose of addressing nutritional health of dogs and horses. The original formulas of the antioxidant/anti-inflammatory biscuits were formulated for their own pet dogs and the horses they were riding. The mission of the company is to bridge the gap between the ongoing research, published in peer-reviewed medical and veterinary journals, and the daily choices of pet owners.
Our products are made using a low temperature/dehydration process with SMART and safe ingredients, such as Salvia hispanica, Curcuma longa and Vitis rotundifloria which are shown to make a significant change in the animal’s health by reducing inflammation and combating free radicals . We are using ingredients of mostly regional, organic farms rather than chemically altered laboratory derived ingredients to ensure freshness, quality, purity, eliminating chemically derived processes and foreign exports. We provide pet owners with products that are custom made, cost-effective, and easy and fun to use.
